Questions people
actually ask
If yours isn’t here, write to us and a person will answer.
support@tsukuba-tech.comIs e-Tanzz actually free, or is that a trial?
It's a real free plan — five signature requests a month, forever, no card required. If that's all you need, that's all you ever have to use. No trial countdown, no forced upgrade.
Do the people I send documents to need an e-Tanzz account?
No, never. They open the link, read the document, sign it in the browser, and close the tab. This is true on every plan, not just the free one.
Why would I switch from DocuSign to e-Tanzz?
The honest answer: if DocuSign already fits how your organization buys software and you need its specific enterprise features, e-Tanzz may not be a fit yet. e-Tanzz is built for people who want to send and sign documents today without a procurement process — freelancers, small teams, and businesses that found DocuSign's pricing or complexity aimed at a bigger company than theirs.
Is my document legally binding if I sign it with e-Tanzz?
Yes — e-Tanzz signatures are built for ESIGN Act / UETA compliance, with a full audit trail and certificate of completion on every signed document. See our compliance page for the specifics.
What does e-Tanzz not do (yet) that DocuSign does?
We'd rather tell you than have you find out later: team accounts, API/webhooks, and a custom domain for signing pages are built and marked 'Soon' on our pricing page — not live yet. If you need those today, DocuSign already has them.
